A working meeting of Deputy Directors General and Chief Engineers of electric grid companies of JSC IDGC Holding will be held on the 3rd to 5th February in Svetlogorsk (Kaliningrad Region).

At the meeting that will be headed by Deputy Director General and Technical Director of JSC IDGC Holding Pavel Okley, the participants will discuss a broad range of issues related to the improvement of operational process control of facilities in regional grid companies.

Issues to be discussed include: implementation of programs for upgrading the data acquisition and transfer system; telecommunication solutions for the electric utility industry using satellite communication systems; and the breakdown rate in the distribution grid system. The participants will visit facilities of Yantarenergo.

In the scope of the event the working group of JSC IDGC Holding for the development of operational process control will sum up its performance in 2009 and review its tasks for year 2010.
