Gazprom’s Regional Policy Commission held its ordinary meeting presided by Alexander Ryazanov, Head of the Commission and Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee.
The Commission heard proposals on the organizational system of contracts to be concluded with Russian gas customers and substantiated scheming of 2005 targeted gas deliveries to the Russian Federation regions and most prominent consumers.
The Commission recommended Mezhregiongaz to introduce regulations optimizing multi-fuel applications and binding to use fuels alternative to gas when carrying on business with Russian gas customers authorized to receive gas as fuel.
To enhance the economic efficiency of natural gas marketing on the Russian market, Mezhregiongaz and Gazprom’s Gas and Liquid Hydrocarbons Marketing and Processing Department received instructions to actively introduce special gas measurement equipment.
The Commission members also addressed the issue of enhancing the efficiency of gas conservation measures stepped up at Mezhregionteploenergo’s heat and power facilities.
The Commission ordered Mezhregiongaz and Mezhregionteploenergo to keep on implementing efficient heat and power generation projects and introducing gas conservation technologies.
