LOMO PLC got the certificate of state registration of new endoscopes of the 20th series and started its mass production.

   These devices were designed by LOMO in 2002. Endoscopes differ from its predecessors by several modifications - opportunity of distal end fixation, more comfortable location of coupling for junction of surgical aspirator and modernized construction of eyepiece. All above-mentioned allowed new endoscopes to draw near to the level of foreign competitors.  Sealed biopsy gastroduodenoscopes with fibre optics GDB-VO-G-20-1(11,7)LOMO and GDB-VO-G-22-1(8,9)LOMO and also sealed biopsy colonoscopes with fibre optics KB-VO-G-20(1450)LOMO enter today to the 20th series.
