There are more flights in the resort direction. Flights to Madrid are made every day during the summer timetable period, there are also flights to Nice every day during the high season, flights to Athens are made six times a week, to Barcelona – four times a week, to Krasnodar – two times a day. Taking into account seasonality in demand, the air company uses planes with more quantity of seats for flights to Sochi, Rome, Milan and Nice. In comparison with the same period of the last year a number of flights to Rostov, Dnepropetrovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Norilsk and Arkhangelsk will significantly increase. During summer holidays passenger flow rise is expected for Moscow-Norilsk route. Aeroflot is going to substitute Tu-154 that is engaged in this direction for Il-86 with more aircraft capacity.

A number of flights from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg is increased up to five times a day, this results from the constant passenger flow growth to the northern capital of Russia. Aeroflot has prepared the anniversary present for people of Saint-Petersburg and visitors of the city on Neva-river – direct non-stop flights from Saint-Petersburg to Tokyo and from Saint-Petersburg to Osaka.

Flights to Singapore, Ho Chi Minh and Saloniki are excluded from the summer timetable. Passengers can get there first to Bangkok, Hanoi and Athens by Aeroflot air liners and then by the liners of the local air companies-Aeroflot partners. Aeroflot has agreements with all the companies that deliver Aeroflot clients to Bangkok, Athens and Hanoi.

One of the most important qualitative distinctions of the summer timetable of 2003 is a new approach to cooperation with other air carriers according to Code-Sharing Agreements. Commercial successes of 2002 are joint flights Moscow-Budapest with Malev Air Company, joint operation of the line Shannon – Dublin – Amsterdam – Moscow with SkyNet Air Company, Code-Sharing Agreement with Lufthansa Air Company concerning the line Moscow – Frankfurt – Moscow, joint carriages on the route Moscow – Paris – Moscow with Air France Air Company.
