April 18^th, 2007. In Perm took place the rewarding ceremony of winners of competition “Golden Pier”.

Competition “Golden Pier” among the best consumers of heat and electric energy according to the results of the year 2006 was organized by RAO “UES of Russia” and held by TGC-9 together with Perm energy selling company.

Prizes of the competition “Golden Pier” are presented to the best consumers, who promptly and completely carry out their obligations before powemen. Performance by consumers of their contracts allows to realize plans on construction of new energy objects, rise of life level in the country and its further economic development.

Selection criteria of challengers for the prize “Golden Pier” were complete carrying out of terms and conditions of an agreement, timely payment of consumed energy, observance of the process of energy consumption, introduction of energy-saving technologies and also use of modern accounting and control systems of energy consumption.

Within the limits of the competition, in the category “heat energy” the best companies-participants were awarded on 4 nominations:

- industrial enterprises,

- public and municipal enterprises, enterprises of housing and communal services,

- associations of house owners,

- enterprises of small-scale business.

In nomination “Industrial enterprises” the best consumer according to the results of the year 2006 became “Bereznikovsky soda plant”, also prizes were given to “LUKOIL-Permnegteorgsyntez” and “Novogor-Prikamye”, Berezniki branch. Among public and municipal enterprises and enterprises of housing and communal services the winner became the City clinical hospital No.2 named after F. Gral, among the prize-winners are also Administration of GIBDD GUVD of Perm region and Professional Lyseum No.30. In the category “Associations of house owners” the main prize was given to TSZH “Balatovo 3”, also rewards were given to JSC “Krug” and JSC “REP” (both enterprises from Krasnokamsk). “Golden Pier” among enterprises of small-scale business was awarded to Repin Alexander Anatolyevich, also were mentioned Chetina Larisa Lvovna and Luzganov Anatoly Petrovich.

Companies-consumers of electric energyalso competed for the prize of competition “Golden Pier” in 4 nominations:

- industrial enterprises,

- enterprises, sponsored by the budget,

- agriculture enterprises,

- enterprises of small-scale business.

In nomination “Industrial enterprises” won “Solikamsky magnesium plant”, among the winners are “Perm factory of “Goznak” and JSC “Teplo-M”. Among enterprises, sponsored by the budget, the best was declared “Perm State Medical Academy named after E.A. Vagner of Roszdrav”, awards were also given to “Sanatorium boarding school No.5” and Perm regional institute of professional development for education employees. In the category “Agriculture enterprises” the prize was given to “Agricultural sector Kungursky” and laureates became “Voshod” and “Platoshinskaya poultry factory”. In nomination “Enterprises of small-scale business” the best was declared “Stalagmit” and among winners were JSC “M-8” and JSC “Apeks”.

Federal competition “Golden Pier” is held by the initiative of RAO “UES of Russia” in all regions of the country for the third time. In 2007 for the first time heat energy consumers took part in the competition.
