Subscribers of the PTN branch of OJSC NWT continue to show interest in the service of access to the Internet according to the ADSL technology under the "@vangard" trademark, which was presented for the first time at the Norwecom-2006 exhibition. All in all, over 2000 contracts for connecting to the service have been made for the month that has expired from the start of this service provision.   

Taking into account the keen interest of subscribers in the new brand - "@vangard" The Petersburg Telephone Network is extending its special offer for the connection.  In the period from 20th February till 1st May 2006 subscribers of the PTN branch of OJSC NWT can be connected to @vangard at a special price:

•  RUR 999 (including the first month of servicing) – provided it is technically possible to arrange the service at the moment of undergoing the formalities for receiving the service at the Clients Servicing Centre; 
• RUR 499 (including the first month of servicing) – provided it is technically possible according to the "plan" to arrange the service at the moment of undergoing the formalities for receiving the service at the Clients Servicing Centre.   

For successful promotion of @vangard, North-West Telecom has launched a specialized Internet portal, where exhaustive information on the service is provided:   its advantages, the procedure and places of connection, rates, as well as recommendations on selecting the ADSL subscriber equipment.  About 10,000 people visit the Internet portal https://www.avangard-dsl.ru daily.

The launch of @vangard has been the result of implementing new priorities in the general development strategy of JSC NWT aimed at strengthening the market positions of the company under the conditions of competition.
