Moscow, 29 March 2006. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and Chairman of the Management Board of RAO "UES of Russia" Anatoly Chubais have today signed an Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and RAO UESR.

The Agreement sets forth the general principles, areas and forms of cooperation between the parties. Among other things, it provides for rendering support to RAO "UES of Russia" in its activities on the international arena, establishment of information exchange, and analysis of draft international contracts and agreements in the area of energy.
