Moscow, 3 April 2006. Today, five new companies spun off from OAO "Saratovenergo" and OAO "Ulyanovskenergo" completed their state registration with the authorities. Another three new companies spun off from OAO "Samaraenergo" were registered on 1 April 2006. The companies' registration took place in accordance with the schedule of regional energos' restructuring.

OAO "Saratovenergo":

• OAO "Saratov Territorial Generation Company";
• OAO "Saratov Distribution Company";
• OAO "Saratov Trunk Company".

OAO "Samaraenergo":

• OAO "Samara Territorial Generation Company";
• OAO "Samara Distribution Company";
• OAO "Samara Trunk Company".

OAO "Ulyanovskenergo":

• OAO "Ulyanovsk Territorial Generation Company";
• OAO "Ulyanovsk Distribution Company".

Thus, to date, the regulatory authorities have granted registration to 238 new companies established as a result of reorganization of 56 subsidiaries and dependent companies (SDCs) of RAO "UES of Russia". To date, the functional separation has been fully completed at 50 SDCs of RAO "UES of Russia".
