The joint group involving PJSC “Rosseti” and France's Electric Corporation Électricité de France (EDF) has commence its first session at Lenenergo (Lenenergo is a member of Rosseti Group) training center in the village of Tervolovo. During the meeting in Paris on January 24, 2017, both parties reached agreement on the implementation of a joint project in order to modernize the PJSC “Lenenergo” training center and create a Task Force in compliance with the memorandum of understanding entered into by PJSC “Rosseti” and EDF. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation to increase efficiency and reliability of the power grid infrastructure. The parties set up a priority task which is to modernize Tervolovo training center in order to train personnel based on existing systems and facilities designed according to the global innovative power technologies, including intellectual grid control systems. The delegation considered a plan on intellectual training center renovation before mid-September 2018. The priority task includes implementing a unified complex IT system in order to control its infrastructure. The next goal is to develop additional functions, including a module hybrid self-generated power supply system, a stand of digital substation elements, equipment virtual protection and robotized technology. As a result of the meeting the roadmap for the joint project and plans for expansion cooperation prospects have been outlined.
