Round table “Strategy of building and development of living and commercial property in conditions of crisis” took place in the retail and environment center “MTV-center” within the framework of Second Cheboksary Economic Forum “Economy: development control in conditions of the world financial crisis”. The representatives of authorities, business, building, fuel and energy sectors both of Chuvash Republic and other regions of Russian Federation took place in the arrangement. Alexander Nikolayevich Goncharov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Chuvash Republic – Minister of City Planning and Social Infrastructure Development of Chuvash Republic, opened the work of round table. He welcomed all the participants of the arrangement and wished them productive work. State support of building sector, attraction of financial resources for housing construction according to all the current programs, development of mortgage credit lending and mechanisms of living and commercial property selling were discussed at the meeting. Dmitry Ivanov, Deputy Director General of “IDGC of Volga”, JSC – Director of “Chuvashenergo” branch, delivered his report devoted to these issues. He marked that “Chuvashenergo” annually takes part in the development of power grid facilities of Chuvash Republic, including the development of housing infrastructure, within the framework of investment program fulfillment which was duly agreed with administration of Chuvash Republic. With the aim of building of infrastructure for housing construction “Chuvashenergo” adapts new streets and houses to electric power and reconstructs power energy objects to provide the reliable and uninterrupted power supply of consumers of Chuvash Republic municipal entities. For example, the amount of capital investments of “Chuvashenergo” in 2008 was equal to 574,8 million rubles (including in the housing construction 445,1 million rubles), in 2009 year – 302,5 million rubles (including in the housing construction 287,8 million rubles). At the end of Forum all participants exchanged their opinions and marked the constructive co-operation of public authorities, natural monopolies and construction industry business in the solution of issues devoted to external communal infrastructure.
