COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (JSC COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading supplier of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and the CIS, has announced that the Moscow region branch of JSC COMSTAR-UTS has set upon provision of communication services to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise, Krugloye Lake Training Center of Russian National Teams.

To ensure connection of the training center, specialists of COMSTAR-UTS have laid a fiber-optic communication line (FOCL) from the carrier’s backbone network in Moscow region to the center territory. COMSTAR provides broadband Internet access and digital telephone communication services with allocation of a required number of telephone lines.

In the context of this project, the company plans to activate the cable television service with an enhanced number of digital TV programs (more than 70 Russian and overseas channels), installation of coin-box telephones and innovative web-telephones as well as videoconferencing. Besides, hardware for wireless Internet access based on Wi-Fi is planned to be rolled out.
