At the meeting they approved the General Director’s report about the company activity in the first quarter of the year 2007, made decisions of establishment of branches “Ekaterinburgsky”, “Nizhneturinsky”, “Permteplosbyt”.

The Board of Directors of TGC-9 approved the General Director’s report about the company activity in the first quarter of the year 2007.

In February they finished formation of the company principal structure – JSC “Komi regional generating company” was reorganized in the form of affiliation with TGC-9.

For the first three months of the year 2007 production branches of TGC-9 generated 4,92 billion K.W.H. of electric energy that exceeded the planned figures on 105 million K.W.H. The sale of heat energy was 14,82 million Gkal and it was lower than the planned figures in connection with exceeding of outside air temperature of normal figures for the present period.

In the first quarter TGC-9 invested 205 million RUR in development of the stations and heat networks. Within the bounds of realization of the investment program on January 31^st at Chaykovskaya HPP-18 they set in operation a new turboset with power of 50 megawatt. The company is also carrying out work over the investment projects at Permskaya HPP-6, HPP-9, HPP-13 and HPP-14, Bogoslovskaya HPP and Nizhneturinskaya HPP. The company gave 397,7 million RUR for execution of repairing works.

The Board of Directors of TGC-9 decided to establish branches “Ekaterinburgsky” and “Nizhneturinsky”. “Ekaterinburgsky” branch will include Novo-Sverdlovskaya HPP, Sverdlovskaya HPP and Sverdlovsk heat networks, “Nizhneturinsky” branch will include Nizhneturinskaya HPP, Kachkanarskaya HPP and Verhoturskaya HPS. The branches are established by “central” principle – they unite stations and heat networks that provide energy supply of one energy centre and are united by technological relationship.

The establishment of aggregative central branches by territorial and technological characteristics will lead to increase of controllability and efficiency of TGC-9 work, allow to reduce office and management expenses, increase reliability of energy supply.

The Board of Directors also decided to establish “Permteplosbyt” branch. The branch will realize heat energy on the territory of Perm region. The branch is established with a view of work regulation and optimization of functions connected with heat energy sale, building of a vertically integrated control structure of the process of heat energy realization, raising of responsibility level for settlement of accounts with heat energy consumers.

The Board of Directors took into consideration information of the situation in the town of Berezniki (Perm region) in connection with the accident in the mine of JSC “Uralkaliy”. TGC-9 is studying variants of provision of reliable heat supply of the town and prospects of generation development in Bereznikovsko-Solikamsky energy centre.

The Board of Directors approved participation of TGC-9 in the project of provision of energy supply of the district “Akademichesky” that is under construction (the city of Ekaterinburg). The company plans to construct and set in operation a new source of energy with power of approximately 350 megawatt and 1000 Gkal/hour for provision of energy needs of the district.

The Board of Directors also determined the cost of the Public accountant services – “PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit” – according to the agreement on rendering of services on overview examination of intermediate financial account of the Company for six months of the year 2007 that must be prepared according to International standards of financial accounting and the contract on rendering of other consulting and audit services.
