Some local grid companies in the Samara region still ignore their financial obligations to Samara Distribution Grids (SDG), a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (subsidiary of Rosseti, PJSC). Some debts date back to the year before last. The list of permanent major debtors includes Production Company Avtokomponent Syzran, Setevaya Kompaniya, LLC, Energo, LLC. etc. Some local grid companies delivering services to major regional factories are not an exception. To make such grid companies pay their debts, SDG have to apply to court to receive warrants of execution and submit them to credit institutions or department of court bailiffs or give a notice of reduction of power supplies to the debtors. Today’s total receivables amount to approximately 800 M rubles. SDG take all reasonable efforts to prevent further growth of the debt through active claim-related work and effective cooperation with law enforcement agencies and bailiffs service. Focusing on pre-court activities, SDG are open to dialog with the debtors and to discussion of repayment options allowed by law. However, the unfair partners ignore SDG’s efforts and keep accumulating their debts. The debts for power transmission services militate against implementation of SDG’s mass repair program by making it difficult to finance the repair and replacement of the equipment at the power facilities of the branch. Non-payments for power transmission services is a common problem affecting Samara branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and other regional companies. To address this problem compromising the energy security of the Samara region, joint efforts of power sector specialists, public authorities and law enforcement agencies are required.
