The review-competition of Gazprom environmental services and ecology specialists has finalized. The title “The Best Environmental Service of Gazprom” was awarded to the environmental service of Gazprom Transgaz Ukhta (the Environmental Protection Division Head is Sergey Yuretskiy).

The following people were recognized as the best ecology specialists:

Anatoly Arabskiy – Sci-Tech and Environment Chief Engineer Deputy, Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg;

Tatyana Lebedyantseva – Leading Engineer of the Environment Protection Division, Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg;

Sergey Konyaev – Head of the Environment Protection Division, Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol.

Background:

The review-competition of environmental services and ecology specialists was held in Gazprom for the first time. As a basis, the questionnaire method to evaluate activities and to set related scores was used. In particular, environmental services of subsidiary units were appraised through the environmental indicators, energy saving efficiency as well as the environmental management system.

The Commission defined the best ecology specialists based on the nominations from the subsidiaries representing the environmental services that had gained the best scores in the questionnaires.

Currently, more than 2000 ecology specialists work in the Gazprom Group.
