Moscow, Russia - 14 July 2008 - According to the Ranking of Russian Military-Industrial Complex Companies, the latest annual study carried out by the Centre for Strategy and Technology Analysis (CSTA), RTI Systems Concern was in 11th place among the top 20 Russian MIC companies in 2007.
The CSTA ranking is Russia's equivalent of The Global Defense News Top 100 international rating, with companies ranked on the basis of total revenue (to Russian Accounting Standards) and revenue from sales of military products. In the latter category, RTI Systems Concern was in the top 10 companies.
"...Speaking of financial indicators, the Concern's results in 2007 were quite impressive. Revenue growth was around 40%, in comparison to the industry average of just 20%. The results make sense: the Concern went up two places in the ranking of Russian MIC companies on the basis of 2007 revenue, while achieving a top 10 placement in the military product sales category. The ranking is an objective testament to the fact that this non-public asset is developing at considerable speed," noted Sergey Boev, VP of Sistema and Chairman of the Board of the RTI Systems Concern.
