Alexander Andreev, General Director   of "UTK" PJSC, and Yanvar Chinazirov, Director of the UTK’s branch “Electrosvyaz of Adygeia Republic”, met with Boris Gokzhaev, Vice-president of the Adygeia Republic, and Yevgeny Kovalyov, Acting Prime-Minister, and discussed a number of questions on cooperation in the sphere of  telecommunications development in the region.

At present customer demand for value-added telecommunication services, especially for xDSL-based Internet broadband access services is growing in the Adygeia Republic. The government of the Republic and the management of "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC agreed to consolidate efforts on further development and introduction of new technologies. «Our Company adheres strictly to the strategy aimed at development of value-added telecom services. This economic cooperation is just another step to accomplish priority tasks both of UTK and the Republic», - Alexander Andreev stated.

During the meeting the parties also discussed the question on optimization of the branch’s organizational structure.

UTK’s branch “Electrosvyaz of Adygeia Republic” is the largest telecom operator in the Republic providing traditional telephony and Internet services. The branch constructed corporate information networks for the State Council (Khase) of the Adygeia Republic, the Branch of the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation, the Pension fund, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic and for many other organizations. 1H 2006 revenue of “Electrosvyaz of Adygeia Republic” was 126.9 million rubles, showing a 10.8%-increase over a year-ago. Revenues from value0added services increased by 86.2% to 12.97 million rubles.
