Moscow, 11 August 2006. On 10 August 2006, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) registered the reports on the results of placement of ordinary and preferred shares by OAO "Territorial Generation Company No. 2" (TGC-2) dated 29 June 2006.
The new shares were exchanged for shares in OAO "Kostroma Generation Company", OAO "Novgorod Generation Company", OAO "Tver Generation Company", OAO "Yaroslavl Energy Company", and OAO "Vologodskaya CHPP".
OAO "TGC-2" was registered with the state authorities on 19 April 2005 in the city of Yaroslavl. The Company's Director General is Vasily Nesvetaylov. The resolution to establish OAO "TGC-2" as a wholly-owned subsidiary of RAO "UES of Russia" was approved by the Board of Directors of RAO "UES of Russia" on 25 February 2005.
