Rosseti Volga

June 3, 2016

Regional organizations owe to Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, over 158 million rubles

The debt of Penza organizations for electricity transmission services to Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) as of June 1, 2016 totaled over 158.2 million rubles. The major debtor to the grid operators (147 million rubles) is the last resort power supplier in the Penza region — TNS energo Penza, LLC. The term of the next payment for the electric power transmission services of IDGC of Volga expired on May 22. But no funds to the grid company accounts have been received yet.

EnergoService Povolzhie, LLC (1 million rubles) and Oboronenergosbyt, JSC (6.7 million rubles) can also be listed among the debtors, who have a large amount of receivables to Penzaenergo.

Activities on debt collection are under special control in Penzaenergo. The successful and complete implementation of repair and investment programs, and thus, the reliability of power supply to consumers of the Penza region directly depend on the elimination of indebtedness. Constant failures to meet the payment time constraints of sales companies throughout 2015 complicated the dutiful fulfillment of IDGC of Volga's own obligations to the adjacent grid operators, contractors, budgets of different levels. The irresponsible attitude of all electric power consumers (whether it is a legal body or a physical person) towards the compliance with payment discipline poses a threat to the autumn and winter season of 2016–2017, as related to repair and reconstruction of equipment, upgrading and construction of electric power facilities. Therefore, the main task now for all participants of the energy market in the region is to prevent the deterioration of payment discipline and formation of multi-million debts.
