Moscow, 25 August 2006. On 24 August 2006, the Federal Service for Financial Markets of Russia (FSFM) registered six additional issues of ordinary shares of OAO "WGC-6"*. The new shares will be exchanged for shares in the companies merging with OAO "WGC-6": OAO "TPP-24" ("GRES-24"), OAO "Kirishskaya TPP", OAO "Ryazanskaya TPP", OAO "Novocherkasskaya TPP", OAO "Krasnoyarskaya TPP-2", and OAO "Cherepovetskaya TPP". According to the resolutions authorizing the share issuance, OAO "WGC-6" is to issue the following amounts of shares:
- 585,175,000 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB585,175,000. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-002D;
- 25 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB25. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-003D;
- 29 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB29. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-004D;
- 23 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB23. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-005D;
- 25 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB25. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-006D;
- 361,135,000 shares, par value RUB1 per share, for a total value of RUB361,135,000. The state registration number assigned to the share issue is 1-01-65106-D-007D;
The FSFM also registered the prospectuses ordinary share issues of OAO "TGC-9" dated 15 March 2005 and 27 April 2006.

* The resolution to establish OAO "WGC-6" as a wholly-owned subsidiary of RAO "UES of Russia" was taken by the Board of Directors of RAO "UES of Russia" at the meeting held 24 December 2004. OAO "WGC-6" was registered with the state authorities on 17 March 2005 in the city of Rostov-na-Donu. The Company is headed by Director General Valentin Sanko.
