On their professional holiday transport workers of Uralkali received a gift - new sports and health-improving complex

All employees of the enterprise "Avtotranskali" will be able to visit a new large sports and health-improving complex.

Avtotranskali (ATK), one of the main divisions of Berezniki company Uralkali, has opened a large sports and health-improving complex, which includes a rest room, phytobar, swimming pool, sauna and gym. It has also completed reconstruction of a canteen, which can now seat 96 persons, much more than before. Soon, all employees of the enterprise will be able to have their meals there. Moreover, when necessary, the canteen may be transformed into a hall where Avtotranskali will hold meetings and gala events.

The plans for the construction of the sports complex and the new canteen were prepared and carried out by Perm company Paritet-Design. The project was launched a year ago and was completed on the eve of the professional holiday of automobile transport workers. The gala event devoted to the opening of the complex was attended by Maxim Bakshinsky, Executive Director of Uralkali, and deputy of the Berezniki City Duma Vladimir Konovalov, Director of BKRU-1.

"This is a significant event for Uralkali," Maxim Bakshinsky stressed. "It demonstrates that the social component has always remained a top priority in the policy of our enterprise. This project is by no means the last one in Avtotranskali. We will continue investing funds, specifically in the upgrading of the material and technical base of the enterprise."

On behalf of the city authorities Vladimir Konovalov congratulated Avtotranskali workers on their professional holiday. He said that in the past ten years no other enterprise in the city had undertaken projects like those which were carried out by Avtotranskali. "Today, the Uralkali management places the main emphasis on the improvement of the social sphere. Such projects testify to the fact that while sparing no effort for further development of the enterprise the Uralkali management realizes that it is impossible to achieve any economic effects, become a prospering company without taking care of the needs of the people."

According to Oleg Mikheenko, Director of Avtotranskali, the new health-improving complex has been built exclusively for the ATK workers. To stimulate the personal, the Avtotranskali management decided to give free tickets for visiting the complex to the best workers and members of their families. At the gala opening the first personal invitations to visit the sports and health-improving complex were presented to veterans and honorary workers of Avtotranskali.

Apart from the Uralkali management and representatives of the city authorities the ATK collective was congratulated by Alexei Klein, Chairman of the regional committee of the Roskhimprofsoyuz trade union.

"Uralkali is an enterprise which invests real funds in its workers," Alexei Klein said. "Only a few months ago, when we met at a meeting of the trade union presidium, Avtotranskali director Oleg Mikheenko was telling me about the changes in the social policy of the enterprise, about projects for the improvement of the social sphere. I am glad that his words were supported by deeds."

On behalf of the regional trade union committee Alexei Klein presented to the Avtotranskali director a memory badge commemorating the 85th anniversary of Roskhimprofsoyuz trade union. From the trade union committee of Uralkali the ATK collective received 10 thousand rubles for further outfitting of the sports and health-improving complex.
