OAO SiberiaTelecom’s 9m 2003 results are as follows:

- Revenue from sales of goods, production, works, and services was up 125.2% year-on-year (from Rub 8,775 mln to Rub 10,990 mln);

- Sales profit – up 121.1% y-o-y, from Rub 2,081 mln to Rub 2,521 mln;

- Pre-tax profit – up 162.0%, from Rub 974 mln to Rub 1,578 mln;

- Net profit – up 178.7%, from Rub 588 mln to Rub 1,051 mln.

A breakdown of the company’s overall expenditure is as follows:

- Payroll – 33.7%;

- Social insurance deductions – 11.8%;

- Depreciation of fixed and intangible assets – 8.8%;

- Tangibles (including capital repairs) – 10.5%;

- Payments to Rostelecom – 14.3%;

- Miscellaneous costs – 20.9%.

The total amount of domestic long-distance traffic (outgoing chargeable LD calls) - 1,221 mln minutes (+118.2% year-on-year, from 1,033 mln minutes).

The total amount of international long-distance traffic (outgoing chargeable ILD calls) - 64 mln minutes (+110.4% from 58 mln minutes).

The total amount of capital investments in January-September 2003 - Rub 1,88 bln.

During the first nine months of 2003, the company entered into service 129,598 numbers of urban telephone networks and 15,110 numbers of rural telephone networks.
