In the first half of 2020, specialists from Rosseti Volga repaired over 16 thousand km of power lines with a voltage of 0.4–220 kV. During the planned work, power engineers replaced more than 42 thousand insulators, 391 km of wire and 60 km of ground wire, about 7.5 thousand supports, installed 4.5 thousand bird protection devices.

In order to prevent technological disruptions caused by branches of trees and shrubs falling onto wires, clearing of power transmission lines was carried out on an area of 2.5 thousand hectares.

At substations of 35 kV and above, overhaul, medium and current repairs were carried out for 1.7 thousand power transformers of 35–110 kV, 2.6 thousand switches of 6–110 kV, 1.1 thousand disconnectors of 35–110 kV, more than 400 separators and short-circuits of 35–110 kV, 64 transformer bushings of 35–110 kV were replaced.

In the segment of 0.4 kV power grids, more than 2.7 thousand transformer substations, over 300 6-10/0.4 kV transformers, about 150 circuit breakers were repaired.

At the end of the second quarter, the costs of power engineers for repair work amounted to about 698 million rubles.

Repair of equipment at the facilities of the Rosseti Volga power grid complex in Saratov, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Penza Oblasts, the Republic of Mordovia and the Chuvash Republic is being carried out in accordance with the planned schedules.
