| Basing on positive results, which the Commission of Federal Agency for Technical Regulation & Metrology obtained in verifying the activity of “ Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC Metrology Department accredited to check-up gauges, and positive opinion of FGU “Test-Tatarstan”, the validity period for the Accreditation Certificate has been extended until December 31, 2010.
The Accreditation Certificate covers initial check-up after repair and periodic check-up of gauges for the needs of the Company's captive subdivisions and subsidiaries.
“ Nizhnekamskneftekhim” INC exploits about 170 000 gauges – from vernier calipers up to sophisticated measuring systems. 94% of these measuring devices, except for ionizing, vibroacoustic gauges, industry standards and explosive concentration indicators, are checked up at the Company's Principal Metrologist Department.
