November 21, 2003, Moscow. Aeroflot - Russian Airlines has become the Laureate of the Russian Business Academy Award-2003 in the nomination "Efficient Management".

The Award was presented to the Company for the modern efficient corporate policy and forming the professional management team. "THE BEST ENTERPRISE OF THE YEAR", "SMALL BUSINESS", "BUSINESS AND INNOVATION", "PATRON OF ART OF THE YEAR" and others were the main nominations.

The Russian Business Academy Award was instituted in 1995. It was aimed to popularize achievements of the best representatives of the Russian business circles affecting its economic potential development and to mark businessmen making an outstanding personal contribution to the social and economic life of the country, a region or a city.

Besides Aeroflot the Russian Business Academy Award has been presented this year to the Bank of Moscow, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the RF, German Gref, and others. In the past A. Volsky, E. Primakov, V. Potanin and others were the Award nominees.

The Award Ceremony took place on November 20 within the Fifth Assembly of Russian Business Circles "The Formation of a More Favorable Business Climate in Russia Is the Basis for Russia's Economic Prosperity" and the Seventh Solemn Ceremony of the Russian Business Academy Award "BUSINESS-OLYMPUS. DARIN" in the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia.
