TGC-9

December 3, 2007

JSC “TGC-9” had put into operation a new gas pipeline on the HPP-10 in Berezniki

December 3, 2007 the inset of the new gas pipeline was made on the HPP-10 in Berezniki .The old one which was located on the construction spot of the roundabout branch line was replaced by this new gas pipeline.

While the inset of the new gas pipeline was being made, the HPP-10 had been operating using the reserve fuel – oil. This fact didn’t influence neither the volumes of the electricity and heat generation of the station, nor the fuel reserves prepared in advance on the electric power station. It’s quite enough for reliable overcome of the autumn-winter period.

The section of the gas pipeline with the length of 1225 meters was built during three weeks. It’s been passed all necessary tests and normative pressure tests and was put into operation.

At the end of 2006 JSC “TGC-9” moved the part of gas pipeline in order to provide the urgent construction of the roundabout railway line. The carrying over of 850 meters of gas pipeline was made in the shortest possible time - during one week.

The necessity in carrying over of the present rail ways arise because the possibility of soil collapses after the damages on the JSC “Uralkaliy” mine. The works on dismantling of those parts of buildings and constructions, which are located in the zone of railways’ laying, are being executed on the HPP-10 in Berezniki. They are: the building of engineering shop (890 square meters), fuel oil economy (reinforced concrete underground tank of 3612 cubic meters in bulk for storage of the fuel oil, ferroconcrete oil traps, tank port with the length of 144 meters) and other not so important constructions. The main works of the equipment’ dismantling was finished on the 1st of December, 2007 on the HPP-10 in Berezniki. The released area of the ex-power station can be used for construction of the new roundabout railway branch.
