The total volume of the issue of ordinary shares convertible into shares in OJSC Lensvyaz was 74 216 223 pieces. The shares were assigned the state registration number 1-02-00119-?-012D. The total volume of the additional issue of preference shares type A convertible into shares in OJSC Lensvyaz was 24 740 475 pieces. The shares were assigned the state registration number 2-02-00119-?-011D.

The total volume of the additional issue of ordinary shares convertible into shares in OJSC Svyaz of Republic of Komi was 70 914 629 pieces. The shares were assigned the state registration number 1-02-00119-?-011D. The total volume of the additional issue of preference shares type A convertible into shares in OJSC Svyaz of Republic of Komi was 23 635 203 pieces. The shares were assigned the state registration number 2-02-00119-?-012D.

As the result of the merger the number of ordinary shares in OJSC NWT rose by 145 134 309 to 881 045 433 pieces and the number of preference shares rose by 48 379 035 to 250 369 337 pieces. At present the aggregate market capitalization of OJSC NWT with the merged companies is $ 567 million.

As already reported, the shares were placed by converting into them the shares of the merged companies (OJSC Lensvyaz and OJSC Svyaz of Republic of Komi). The reports on the results of additional issues of shares in OJSC NWT were published on November 5, 2004.
