Joint Stock Financial Corporation Sistema announces the creation of an Investor Relations Department. The company’s new structural unit has been instituted within the framework of the finance and investment complex to maintain contacts with members of the investor community.

Commenting on the company’s latest move, SISTEMA JSFC President Yevgeni Novitsky said, “Establishment of a department to work with investors is essential for a world-class company working actively with external investors. We are consistently demonstrating to the investor community our adherence to the principles of openness and we intend to keep up this policy in the future.”

Andrei Bliznyuk, who was previously deputy director for investor relations at OAO Wimm-Bill-Dann Food Products, has been appointed head of the new department.

Andrei Bliznyuk was born in Vladivostok in 1977. In 2000, he graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Moscow (Lomonosov) State University. Started working for OAO Wimm-Bill-Dann Food Products in 2001. He is a member of the National Institute for Relations with US Investors and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Russian Association for Investor Relations. In May 2003, he was made head of SISTEMA JSFC’s Investor Relations Department.
