AO MOSENERGO summarized the results of capital construction and repairs in the first quarter of 2002

In the first quarter of 2002 the company allocated for capital construction 784.93 million rubles, 9.9% of the annual plan. The amount spent in January through March on assembly and construction works reached 410.39 million rubles (11.7% of annual allocation).

In early 2002, AO MOSENERGO carried out capital repairs of generator GRES-24. AO MOSENERGO repaired two transformers at TEZ-26 and TEZ-21 respectively. In general, throughout the first quarter the company repaired 1 boiler, 1 turbine and 1 water-heating boiler, as well as 7 synchronized compensators and 47 compressors. The company rebuilt 16.2 km of heating lines and 23.7 km of high-voltage lines. The company put into operation 100.84 km of 0.4/6-10 kV electric lines in the country.

Currently, AO MOSENERGO repairs 9 high-voltage substations. The company repairs 3 power units, 8 boilers, 4 turbine generators and 6 water-heating boilers.

Among AO MOSENERGO’s priorities this year:

  • Replacement of turbine No. 3 at TEZ-17 and boiler No. 9 at TEZ-20
  • Launching of boiler No. 10 at TEZ-11
  • Commissioning of Yuzhno-Izmailovskaya and Khapilovskaya pump stations
  • Commissioning of transformer capacities at “The City” substation
  • Commissioning of the cable line leading to substation “City-1”

This year AO MOSENERGO plans to conduct complex repairs of 58 high-voltage substations. In accordance with the schedule the company plans to repair 28 7/5-100 MVA synchronized compensators, 112 110-500 kV air switches and 162 compressors. The company will also service 76 110-220 kV SF6 cells. At 24 substations the company plans to repair automatic fire extinguisher systems.

To prepare the equipment for the next peak load season, AO MOSENERGO plans to repair 14 power units, 24 boilers, 23 turbine generators, 2 hydro-turbines and 20 peak water-heating boilers.

The main objective of AO MOSENERGO this year is to increase the effectiveness of operations and repairs, improve the quality of repairs, lower costs, implement low-cost preventive measures and conduct the monitoring of the equipment, buildings and facilities.
