Total losses of electric energy fell down by 37.57 million kW*h and equalled 7.1% of supply to the network.
IDGC of North-West summed up the results of supply to the network of electric energy in the first half of 2009. The total volume of supplied energy fell down by 11%, as compared to the first half of 2008, and equaled 20.97 billion kW*h.
The volume of productive supply to the network in January to June equalled `9.47 billion kW*h. AS compared to the first half of 2008, this indicator reduced by 11.6%.
Total losses of electric energy reduced by 37.57 million kW*h and equalled 7.1% of supply to the network.
Reduction of the total and productive supplies of electric energy by IDGC of North-West is provided by reduction of production programs of large consumers. The electric energy consumption was reduced most of all in the Vologda Region, (21.4%), the Republic of Karelia (13%) and the Murmansk Region (11.7%).
Today, on 31 July, the executive board of the non-commercial partnership ‘Market Board’ will study the issue of energy consumption in 2010. UES System Operator JSC and the Ministry of Economic Development say that in 2010 the energy consumption rates will be similar to the current year.
